How do I ensure I receive emails from you?

Answer

To ensure emails from Barclays Stockbrokers reach your inbox, please add stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk to your Address Book or Safe Senders' List. This is necessary because some email clients block emails from senders whose email addresses are not in the recipient's Address Book or on their Safe Senders' List, in order to prevent you from receiving unwanted spam email.

 Windows Live (including @hotmail)
1. Once signed in, click on 'Options' in the top right of your screen. If a drop down menu appears, click on 'More options...' at the bottom.
2. Under the 'Junk e-mail' section, click on 'Safe and blocked senders'.
3. Click on 'Safe senders'.
4. Type stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk in the 'Sender or domain to mark as safe:' box, and then click 'Add to list >>'.

Microsoft Outlook
1. Click on the 'File' menu at the top of the screen, then click on 'New', then click on 'Contact'.
2. Type stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk into the 'E-mail' box.
3. Enter any information you wish on the address card and click 'Save and Close'.
Googlemail/GMail
1. Click Contacts along the left side of any page.
2. Click the New Contact button in the top-left corner of the Contact Manager.
3. Enter stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk into the 'Email' box.
4. Enter any information you wish on the address card and click 'Save'.

Yahoo! Mail
If you have Yahoo! Mail Classic:
1. At the top of the message screen, click on the 'Contacts' tab under the Yahoo! logo.
2. Click the 'Add Contact' button that appears on the next screen.
3. Type stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk in the 'Email' box in the 'Primary Information' box.
4. Enter any information you wish on the address card and click 'Save'.

If you have the newer version of Yahoo! Mail:
1. On the left bar, click on the 'Add' link next to 'Contacts'.
2. In the small window that appears, type stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk into the 'Email' box.
3. Enter any other information you wish on the address card and click 'Save'.

AOL
1. Click on 'Settings' in the top right of the screen.
2. On the next screen, click on 'Spam Controls' on the left side.
3. On the next screen, select 'Custom' from the menu next to 'Spam Filters by Address'.
4. Select 'Allow mail from', then enter stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk in the box below.
5. Click on the green plus button.

Orange Webmail (including @freeserve, @fsmail, @wanadoo)
1. Click the my Contacts tab to display your contact list.
2. Under 'Quick Add Contact', enter a nickname and enter stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk into the Email box.
3. Enter any other information you wish and click 'Add'.

Virgin Media (including @blueyonder, @ntlworld)
1. Click the Addresses button above your displayed messages. @ntlworld members should click on 'New Contact' on the next page.
2. On the next screen, enter a nickname (or Display Name for @ntlworld members), and enter stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk into the 'Email address' box.
3. Enter any other information you wish and click 'Add' (or 'OK' for @ntlworld members).

Sky.com
1. Click on 'Contacts' on the left side of the page.
2. Click 'Create Contact' and enter stockbrokers@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and Barclays@email.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk into the 'Email' box.
3. Enter any other information you wish and click 'Save'.
