Question

What happens if I don't have the cash in my account by the required deadline?

Answer

If you have a MarketMaster it is important for you to ensure that you have enough money in your account to cover the cost of the share take up. Insufficient funds may result in your bank account becoming overdrawn.

If you have an ISA portfolio it is important for you to ensure that you have enough money in your account to cover the cost of the share take up. As an ISA portfolio is not allowed to become overdrawn, insufficient funds will result in your election being scaled down to the point where the available funds in your account match the new share take up cost.
