Question

Why did I receive a smaller cash dividend than expected?

Answer

You may have received a smaller cash dividend if you have requested that we take the Scrip Dividend for you. If the Scrip Dividend is available then you will see that you have extra shares and may have a small cash payment, this will be the amount left over that wasn't enough to get another full share.

If you have invested into a unit trust fund and requested the 'reinvestment' (accumulation) option you will receive new units with this option and no cash payment will be made. Therefore, you will not receive a cash payment with an accumulation fund, instead your existing units will increase in value.
