Question

Once I have a Direct Debit in place, when will you debit my account?

Answer

At 5PM on the day you deal we will check the cash balance that you hold in your MarketMaster.  If there are is no cash, or insufficient funds, within your MarketMaster to settle your purchases then the direct debit will be actioned.  We will then debit the bank account you have nominated on the settlement day, this is normally T+2 (trade date + 2 business days) for equities but can vary.

The actual settlement date will be confirmed on the contract that we send you at the time of dealing.
