Question

Can I fund account with a draft?

Answer

If you are sending a Banker's Draft or Building Society Cheque the conditions below must be met otherwise the Draft or Cheque must be returned to the branch.

We can accept a bank/building society cheque or banker's draft if it is made payable to Barclays Bank PLC (BBPLC) and your name is also printed on the Payee line by the issuing branch.

If the issuing branch does not have this facility, they should confirm on the back of the cheque/draft that the funds have come from your personal account and stamp this with their crossing stamp.
