Question

Who do I make a cheque payable to?

Answer

Please make your cheque payable to Barclays Bank PLC (BBPLC).  All cheques must be drawn on a UK bank or building society account in your name, or one held in joint names with you.

Please note: Cheques take 5 working days to clear once we have banked it to your portfolio and is available to trade on the 6th working day.

To reduce the time taken to apply your funds to your trading account, you can make a debit card payment online or over the telephone.  You can also send funds via a BACS/CHAPS transfer.
