Can I pay my ISA administration fee by debit card?

Answer

In accordance with Inland Revenue regulations for ISA accounts, you can pay your administration charges before they are debited to your account, without the charges affecting your annual investment allowance. If you pay the charges after they have been debited to your account, they will count towards your annual investment amount.

Once the administration charges for ISA's have been debited to your account, they will be absorbed by funds already in your account.

If you would prefer to maintain the tax-efficient advantages of cash in your account, you can choose to pay your fees from an external bank account. To do this you will need to send us a completed Direct Debit form. Completed forms should be clearly marked for ‘fee settlement' and sent to:
