Question

What is 'Deal Count'?

Answer

The below table explains, the more frequently you deal, the cheaper your commission becomes:

Deals per calendar month      Commission
1 - 9                                               £11.95
10 - 19                                          £8.95
20 and above                             £5.95

Commission is charged per deal.  Other charges and service restrictions may apply.

Online Commission - All investment types except Fixed Income investments, non-IRS foreign securities, unit trusts and OEICs

You can view your deal count for the current and previous periods within the Account View section of the website.  (Log in, click on 'Portfolio & deal' and select 'Account View')

You can also link any other accounts you may have in order to reach the lower tiers of commission more quickly - you can find out more about account linking within the Ask a Question site.
