Question

Can I open an account by post?

Answer

You can open any of our accounts by post. You can download and print a full application pack, complete and sign it, then return it to us. Alternatively, if you do not have a printer connected to your PC, where prompted, you can ask us to send the forms to you by post.

To access an application form, simply select Open an Account. From the list of accounts displayed you will be able to read more about each account and find the relevant application form in PDF (Portable Digital File) format. To open a PDF you will require Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have this software loaded onto your PC, you can download it by selecting the Adobe Acrobat icon at the bottom of the page.

Please note that in some instances we may require further verification of identity and we will ask you to send us an original bank statement and either a copy of your passport or an original utility bill (not more than 6 months old). After we receive your correctly completed application form, we will open your account and send you a welcome pack confirming your account details. Please allow up to ten business days for account opening.
